began in 1997 by Bud and Nancy Katich of Boise, Idaho. At that time our entire product line consisted of 32 Signature Series Greeting Cards. Artist, Bud Katich, desired to share God’s Creation with others through his unique, mixed-medium photography.

Until 2001, the Image Maker card lines were sold almost exclusively to retail stores. During this period the card line grew to include the Watercolor Collection of cards and small, framed prints. The product was marketed primarily through Wholesale Gift Trade Shows such as the National Stationery Show in New York, the Christian Booksellers Association Show in Orlando, New Orleans and Atlanta, and Gift Shows throughout the Western United States.

The first part of the new Millennium brought significant changes for Image Maker and we almost anticipated that each new year had a new focus! Our gift product line was developed and sold both wholesale and retail. Holiday Cards became a major Fall focus as more and more businesses contacted us to puchase cards with images of the Northwest.

During this time, there was an increasing demand for Bud to produce larger giclee prints of his art. This included a 7’ x 9’ mural to span between two floors of an office building. It became necessary to acquire printers to accommodate the precise, technical nature of fine-art reproduction. Word got out to other artists that we were printing our own giclees and we soon had inquiries about doing printing for others. “Why not?” we thought. We then realized what appeared to be a common denominator with most artists – they loved producing their art – but for the most part preferred to have little or nothing to do with the marketing. We also realized that there was no comprehensive on-line Artist Directory. Both the Directory and the Artist Consortium were born as a result of these expressed needs and it is our desire to continue to service both the Artist and the Art Patron.

We give all the glory to the Lord for what he has done and is doing with Image Maker Enterprises. We are thankful that we are built on a Firm Foundation!
